Reiki, a Japanese healing technique, is renowned for its ability to elevate one's energetic frequency, resulting in profound personal transformation. When you first experience Reiki, the shift in energy can feel incredibly powerful. This sensation arises because Reiki operates at a higher vibrational frequency than most of us typically experience. As you engage regularly with Reiki, your own frequency adjusts, allowing you to operate at a higher vibrational level. Consequently, when your frequency becomes more similar to that of pure Reiki it may not feel as powerful over time, it continues to be even more effective and transformative. 

Understanding Energetic Vibrations

To fully grasp how Reiki influences our energetic frequency, it's crucial to understand the concept of vibrations.

Every being and object in the universe emits a unique vibrational energy, which can be influenced by thoughts, emotions, and physical states.

Many people report feeling a warm, tingling sensation, or a sense of deep relaxation during their first Reiki session. These feelings result from the marked difference between one's current energetic frequency and the elevated frequency of Reiki energy.

The Journey to Higher Vibrations

With continued practice, Reiki elevates your baseline frequency, aligning it more closely with the higher vibrational energy of Reiki itself. As this alignment occurs, the stark contrast you first felt diminishes.

The reduced contrast made the experience feel less intense, yet equally significant, much like stepping into water that matches your body temperature.
